2023年8月18日，中國籃協(xié)官方深夜發(fā)布公告，周琦與趙睿互換東家。當(dāng)時(shí)CBA官網(wǎng)信息顯示，周琦與廣東簽下1年D類頂薪合同，趙睿與新疆簽下3年D類頂薪合同。
在隨后的那個(gè)賽季，廣東男籃止步半決賽，新疆男籃闖入決賽但不敵遼寧。如今，兩人有望在北京隊(duì)聯(lián)手。
