世界衛(wèi)生組織當?shù)貢r間7日表示，今年截至目前加沙地帶已有99人死于營養(yǎng)不良，其中包括29名5歲以下的兒童，并且統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)可能低于實際死亡人數(shù)。此外，7月份加沙地帶約12000名5歲以下兒童被確認患有急性營養(yǎng)不良，為有記錄以來最高的月度數(shù)據(jù)。
世界衛(wèi)生組織呼吁必須停止對加沙地帶的封鎖，根據(jù)國際人道主義法通過所有可能的途徑，向加沙地帶提供包括食品和醫(yī)療衛(wèi)生用品在內(nèi)的人道主義援助。
