當(dāng)?shù)貢r間8月10日上午，聯(lián)合國安理會就巴以局勢召開緊急公開會。巴勒斯坦常駐聯(lián)合國觀察員曼蘇爾在會上發(fā)問：“為何以色列在犯下種種罪行后，還能安坐于聯(lián)合國席位？”
曼蘇爾還說，“如果換作他國，安理會早已采取制裁措施。正是對以色列的有罪不罰導(dǎo)致其瘋狂。”他敦促安理會采取行動。
