Event Summary: A respected Chinese observer and tech investor, Mr Ding Chenling returns to Singapore after 12 years to reconnect with old friends and share his global perspective.

As one of the early SM3 scholars in 1995, a proud NUS Engineering alumnus and Eussoffian, Singapore remains his second home.

About Mr Ding Chenling:

He is a recipient of the prestigious Dr Goh Keng Swee Scholarship. He studied Electrical Engineering with a Technopreneurship minor at NUS and lived at Eusoff Hall, where he actively led student organizations and founded Huasing.org, one of Singapore’s earliest Chinese online communities. After graduation, he received venture support from the Singapore Economic Development Board and went on to build startups across online education, virtual worlds, and the influencer economy. As an angel investor, he backed YOUKIA, a mobile game firm that sold for RMB 1.2 billion in 2015, and he has invested as an LP in funds supporting projects like NIO and NIO BaaS.

Mr Ding is a pioneer of China’s influencer economy, has consulted for institutions such as GIC on internet and e-commerce trends, and is the author of the book Super Influencer. The term “MCN” was brought to China by Mr Ding and weibo team in 2016. Since 2012, he has built a digital presence of over one million followers, widely regarded as a top voice on geopolitics and global investing.

關(guān)于靈哥： 他是 1995 年新加坡 SM3 獎學(xué)金的第四批學(xué)生，在國大工程學(xué)院主修電子工程、副修科技創(chuàng) 業(yè)，并創(chuàng)辦華語互聯(lián)網(wǎng)社區(qū)“華新網(wǎng)”。四年 Eusoff Hall 生活，期間擔(dān)任多項學(xué)生組織職 務(wù)。 新加坡是他人生重要的起點(diǎn)。

他亦是多個私募基金峰瑞資本，天際資本的 LP，投資項目包括蔚來汽車與蔚能電池等。 作為中國網(wǎng)紅經(jīng)濟(jì)的開創(chuàng)者之一，于 2016 年他與微博團(tuán)隊首次將“MCN”概念引入中國。 他著有《超級網(wǎng)紅》一書，并為新加坡主權(quán)基金 GIC 等機(jī)構(gòu)提供互聯(lián)網(wǎng)和電商研究咨詢。

從 2012 年起，他以科技財經(jīng)大 V 的身份，在社交平臺擁有逾百萬粉絲，是國內(nèi)全球地緣政治與投資的頭部財經(jīng)博主之一。此次短暫重返新加坡，他希望與大家共話格局變遷，洞見資產(chǎn)配置與未 來機(jī)遇。
