中國(guó)隊(duì)是該項(xiàng)目的巴黎奧運(yùn)會(huì)冠軍，在世錦賽中卻無(wú)緣決賽。
在去年的巴黎奧運(yùn)會(huì)男子4x100米混合泳接力決賽中，中國(guó)隊(duì)徐嘉余、覃海洋、孫佳俊、潘展樂出戰(zhàn)。預(yù)賽排名第2的中國(guó)隊(duì)決賽在第5道出戰(zhàn)，最終中國(guó)隊(duì)以3分27秒46的成績(jī)奪得金牌，一舉打破了美國(guó)隊(duì)在該項(xiàng)目奧運(yùn)金牌上40年的壟斷。
