Wallonia Export-Investment Agency (AWEX) is the government agency of Wallonia, Belgium, serving the public interests of the Walloon region, in charge of foreign trade promotion and foreign investment attraction. AWEX is responsible for promoting the Walloon region abroad, assisting and supporting potential foreign investors to gradually realize their investment projects in Wallonia. It also provides services to Walloon companies in the economic cooperation with foreign companies. The agency has a worldwide network of 92 economic and trade representative offices, most of the offices are in the consulates.

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Officer, to work as part of the AWEX team based in Shenzhen with investment-oriented objective particularly. He / She will possess business development mindset, excellent research and analytical capabilities, target-oriented communication skills, ability to make immediate response, project management skills and be proactive in identifying potential investment leads. He / She should be a confident and energetic team player who is keen to work on a more flexible and fast-growing environment with certain creativity.

The Business Development Officer of AWEX Shenzhen will play an important role within the team to identify potential prospects in the Greater Bay Area. The job holder will have to coordinate with team members for all AWEX missions and projects. The ideal candidate is expected to be a fast learner with certain economic background or relevant industrial experiences, and a wide interpersonal network in China. This role will report directly to the Chief Representative of AWEX Shenzhen, who is also supervised by the Economic and Commercial Counsellor of AWEX China.

The successful candidate will be mainly responsible for identifying business partners and potential investment leads, conducting industrial research, assisting in event management and match-making for both companies in all sectors.

Main responsibilities

1. Being able to develop new prospects, manage and implement projects independently or with the team as a business developer;

2. Exploring business partners and investment opportunities based on different regional industrial advantages;

3. Building and maintaining good business connections;

4. Conducting market and industry research and analysis upon requests;

5. Coordinating with the team on reception and events arrangement of Belgian official and business delegations during missions;

6. Other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

1. Master degree in international trade and Economics (desirable) or comparable experiences for at least 3 years;

2. Excellent written and spoken English (essential), fluent in written and spoken French (preferred), fluent in Cantonese speaking (plus);

3. Strong sense of integrity and responsibility, self-motivated and self-disciplined, meticulous and precise work manner, with passion for business development;

4. Relevant working experiences in the fields of logistics and e-commerce, life science, ICT, new energy, etc.

5. Strong target-oriented communication and coordination skills;

6. Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team to deal with various tasks at once;

7. Willingness to learn new knowledge and technologies.

該員工將主要負(fù)責(zé)開(kāi)拓和支持潛在的投資項(xiàng)目，開(kāi)展行業(yè)/市場(chǎng)調(diào)研，并在必要時(shí)協(xié)助比利時(shí)和中國(guó)公司的活動(dòng)管理和商務(wù)需求配對(duì)。

2. 根據(jù)瓦隆大區(qū)的行業(yè)優(yōu)勢(shì)探索商業(yè)伙伴和投資機(jī)會(huì)；

3. 建立和維護(hù)與各行業(yè)聯(lián)絡(luò)單位的關(guān)系；

4. 根據(jù)要求進(jìn)行行業(yè)/市場(chǎng)調(diào)研和分析；

5. 在比利時(shí)代表團(tuán)訪華期間協(xié)調(diào)組織比利時(shí)官方和商務(wù)代表團(tuán)的接待和活動(dòng)安排；

6. 負(fù)責(zé)人分配的其他任務(wù)。

具體要求

1. 國(guó)際貿(mào)易和經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)碩士學(xué)位或者3年以上的類(lèi)似工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)；

2. 良好的英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫(xiě)能力（必要），流利的法語(yǔ)聽(tīng)說(shuō)讀寫(xiě)能力（優(yōu)先），流利的廣東話（加分項(xiàng)）；

3. 誠(chéng)信至上，具有強(qiáng)烈的責(zé)任感，上進(jìn)且自律，工作細(xì)致而精確，對(duì)商務(wù)拓展充滿積極主動(dòng)性；

4. 擁有與電商物流、生命科學(xué)、ICT、新能源及電池等領(lǐng)域的相關(guān)工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)；

5. 具有針對(duì)性的溝通協(xié)調(diào)能力；

6. 具有獨(dú)立工作能力與團(tuán)隊(duì)協(xié)作能力，能夠同時(shí)處理各種任務(wù)；
