當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間10月2日，美國(guó)總統(tǒng)特朗普在采訪中表示，若政府持續(xù)陷入“停擺”狀態(tài)，可能會(huì)出現(xiàn)裁員和項(xiàng)目削減。
由于美國(guó)會(huì)參議院9月30日先后否決兩黨撥款法案，當(dāng)?shù)貢r(shí)間10月1日0時(shí)1分，美國(guó)聯(lián)邦政府近7年以來再次“停擺”。美國(guó)副總統(tǒng)萬斯10月1日警告，如果聯(lián)邦政府“停擺”持續(xù)時(shí)間較長(zhǎng)，可能會(huì)引發(fā)裁員。白宮發(fā)言人萊維特則說，聯(lián)邦政府裁員“很可能”發(fā)生，且“很快”會(huì)發(fā)生。（央視記者 劉驍騫）
