這是第48天閱讀英文版《傲慢與偏見(jiàn)》，前面是伊麗莎白無(wú)意中聽到達(dá)西和賓利的對(duì)話。
"Come, Darcy," said he, "I must have you dance. I hate to see you standing about by yourself in this stupid manner. You had much better dance."
我把這段文字瀏覽了一遍，大概意思明白，有兩個(gè)生詞：
“達(dá)西，來(lái)啊”，他說(shuō)，“我必須得讓你跳舞。我煩你一個(gè)人站在那（這后面的兩個(gè)單詞我不認(rèn)識(shí)）。你去跳舞多好啊”
陌生詞匯簡(jiǎn)潔注釋：
1. stupid
詞性：形容詞
含義：愚蠢的；笨拙的；不明智的
用法：“in this stupid manner”，看來(lái)很笨拙、不明智。
2. manner
詞性：名詞
含義：方式；態(tài)度；舉止
用法：“in this stupid manner”，以這種愚蠢的方式。

為了更好的明白這段文字，我逐句拆解閱讀：
1. "Come, Darcy," said he, "I must have you dance."
“Come, Darcy”，來(lái)吧，達(dá)西。
“I must have you dance”，我一定要你跳舞。
“must have sb. do sth.”，強(qiáng)烈的主觀意愿，堅(jiān)持。
2. "I hate to see you standing about by yourself in this stupid manner."
“I hate to see...”，我討厭看到……。
“standing about by yourself”，獨(dú)自站在那兒。
“in this stupid manner”，以這種傻乎乎的方式。
3. "You had much better dance."
“had much better do sth.”，最好做某事，委婉的建議。
達(dá)西是怎么回應(yīng)賓利的呢，往后看。
讀到這里，我才讀出了對(duì)這本英文書喜愛(ài)看的感覺(jué)，想著看情節(jié)的發(fā)展，那就跟著英文原版向前看。
