布達(dá)拉宮壁畫(huà)是其建筑藝術(shù)成就中最為突出的部分，壁畫(huà)總面積近三千平方米，僅東、西殿壁畫(huà)面積就有近一千平方米。

The murals of Potala Palace are the most prominent part of its architectural achievements. Only the murals in the east and west halls cover an area of nearly 1,000 square meters, and the murals of the whole Potala Palace cover an area ofnearly 3,000 square meters.

這些壁畫(huà)取材多樣，有以佛教教義和佛教故事為題材的內(nèi)容，也有表現(xiàn)北京紫禁城、山西五臺(tái)山、西藏各地以及南亞等地的場(chǎng)景;繪畫(huà)技法上，不僅囊括了西藏各大傳統(tǒng)繪畫(huà)藝術(shù)流派的精品，還融合了中原山水畫(huà)和近現(xiàn)代寫(xiě)實(shí)派的藝術(shù)風(fēng)格。

These murals are made of various materials, including Buddhist teachings and Buddhist stories, as well as scenes from the Forbidden City in Beijing, Wutai Mountain in Shanxi, all parts of Xizang, South Asia and other places. In terms of painting techniques, it not only includes the fine works of Xizang an traditional painting art schools, but also combines the artistic styles of the Central Plains landscape painting and modern realism.

在繪畫(huà)構(gòu)圖和色彩選擇上，既有傳統(tǒng)繪畫(huà)作品的延續(xù)和發(fā)展，又有各個(gè)時(shí)期獨(dú)特的表現(xiàn)手法。

In painting composition and color selection, there are not only the continuation and development of traditional paintings, but also the unique expression techniques of each period.
